Ghost Ranch in Autumn Show

                                     Ghost Ranch in Autumn
a Painting Exhibition of the High Desert Painters curated by Ann Templeton

Autumn in the high desert of northern New Mexico is a special time of the year featuring warm days and cool nights, cottonwoods turning gold, and pinon-scented dust topped by first frost the next morning.

In early October 2008, the High Desert Painters traveled to New Mexico for their annual week long artist retreat at Ghost Ranch, New Mexico. Ghost Ranch is in a remote part of northern New Mexico near Abiquiu, about 100 miles northwest of Santa Fe.

This show exhibits a portion of the paintings they created during this time; their painting locations included vistas of Ghost Ranch, scenes along the Chama River near the Christ in the Desert Benedictine monastery, and the historic Santuario off the High Road to Taos in Chimayo, New Mexico. The show was curated by Ann Templeton.

Thank you for letting us share the results of our amazing experience with you. Enjoy the show!   ....The High Desert Painters
